My primary research focuses on solid-state electrochemistry applying to materials development for high-temperature proton conducting fuel cells, molten carbonate fuel cells, gas separation membranes, and energy storage devices. Topics include mixed-conducting electrodes, electrode microstructure design, ionic conducting electrolytes, fundamental electrochemical transport properties of ionic and electronic conducting materials, and asymmetric gas separation membranes. Besides the major research topics, I am also interested and involved in several other research areas such as 2D materials, photocatalyst materials, and gas sensors.
I work as research scientist in the group of Thin Film and Membrane Technology, department of Sustainable Energy @ SINTEF
I speak Chinese, English and some Norwegian.
